Situated by the St. Lawrence River in Baie-Comeau and in the heart of the Manicouagan-Uapishka World Biosphere Reserve, the Jardin des glaciers is an integrated site for interpretation, exploration and education, whose values rely on scientific content, and is set in an unusual and exceptional environment.

Inside the Glacier Exploration Station, travel back in time and experience the «Northern Adventure 20, 000 year under the Ice !» Thanks to the magic of sound, image, light and multimedia technologies, this virtual expedition transports you into the heart of the glacier and climate change theme. Listening devices are used to deliver simplified scientific content, and the visitor-explorer enjoys one of the most impressive and gripping experiences. To complete the experience, the Glacier Exploration Station proposes 4 unguided thematic zones: the cinema room, the multimedia and research room, the alcove hallway and the exhibition room.
ADRENALIN ZONE
Enter the Adrenalin Zone and experience extraordinary sensations. Discover the spectacular markings left on the land by the Laurentian ice cap! The Adrenalin Zone at 8 km east of Baie-Comeau will allow you to discover breath-taking scenery while taking part in exciting activities. Under the supervision of passionate and trained guides, the following activities are proposed: 8 zip lines, Via ferrata, rappelling, water activities, climbing wall, walking trails and even more.

A NIGHT IN THE YURTE
Experience a yurt, the traditional house of Mongolian. The yurt is fully equipped: oven propane, camp beds, dishes, chemical toilet nearby. • Area of fire (wood supplied), hob and granite, table picnic. Ideal for 4 persons or family.
