The Exclusive : Catski

The Exclusive offers a complete day of skiing or boarding bliss with the Catski.

Our guests will join us at the discovery and services centre of the Gaspesie Provincial Park on route 299, 40 km south of the town of Sainte-Anne-Des-Monts, Quebec for 8:30 am. Our region has been found to be one of the top three must visit regions by the National Geographic Traveller Magazine for the quality of our Provincial Parks and Nature Preserves.Before departing for the mountain domain each guest will receive information about the day and their avalanche safety gear.Guests will then be transported to the mountain domain 10 to 15 km north, using our specialized mountain transportation vehicles. In the comfort of our Catski, you will be able to admire the breathtaking scenery on the way to the summit. Make sure not to forget your camera!

Accompanied by our certified guides, our guests will then make several runs during the day each averaging 300 to 450 metres.(1000-1500 feet)These runs are in a wild backcountry setting of exceptional beauty.

Our guests must be ready for a complete day of skiing or boarding outdoors mixed in with rides up in the warmth and comfort of the Catski that should give you enough time to rest between each run. The return will be around 15 :30 pm to the discovery and services centre of the Provincial Park.

The lunch which is provided for in the package, will be taken in the mountains.

Groups : minimum 4, maximum 8

Ski Chic-Chocs inc. Offers powder ski rentals and poles for 45$ per day. Skiers must supply their own ski boots.

Alpine Trekking (with snowshoes)The Alpine Trekking offers a complete day of snowshoeing in a breathtaking mountain environment. Accompanied by our nature guide and interpreter you will discover the natural beauty of the alpine terrain and its wildlife on a trek through the highest mountains of the Gaspe Penninsula and perhaps observe some of the last surviving members of the Woodland Cariboo herd to be found south of the St-Lawrence seaway. Our region has been found to be one of the top three must visit regions by the National Geographic Traveller Magazine for the quality of our Provincial Parks and Nature Preserves.Our guests will join us at the discovery and services centre of the Gaspesie Provincial Park on route 299, 40 km south of the town of Sainte-Anne-Des-Monts, Quebec for 8:30 am. You will be transported to the mountain domain in the warmth and comfort of our specially adapted snowtrack, which is ideal for wildlife observation in a safari photo type adventure. Make sure not to forget your camera!Guests must be ready for a complete day outdoors with the return at the discovery and service centre of the Provincial Park being around 15:30 pm. The lunch which is provided for in the package, will be taken in the mountains.Groups : minimum 2, maximum 12 Snowshoe and pole rentals available.

Your guide

Our lead guide Stephane, is an assistant guide for the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association. He is also a First Responder instructor for SIRIUS. He is a professional photographer and has over 30 years of skiing experience, 15 of which in the backcountry.
