The New World Centre, your most complete adventure destination in Eastern Canada, offers you a multitude of adventures packages. Located one hour from Montreal, Ottawa, Cornwall or Mont-Tremblant, the New World centre is the best place to get away from the daily routine.
One of the top whitewater rivers in North America. Draining from the western Laurentian Mountains, the Rouge river cascades down through the ancient granite of the Canadian Shield. The Rouge is a free flowing river. The rafting is excellent all season long. There are two sections to the Rouge: the Harrington Canyon and Seven Sisters. We start the season on the Harrington Canyon when the spring run off is peak and the water is running too high and fast for the Seven Sisters. Throughout the summer the Seven Sisters section provides challenging, technical, continuous rapids with warmer water.
If your idea of adventure means sleeping out in a forest, rafting, kayaking, sportyaking or biking on mountain trails then the New World Adventure Club is for you. Two full days of excitement, hearty meals, poolside bar-terrace and campfire parties all come together to make the Adventure Club a memorable weekend event. Included are all activities as booked (Rafting, Sportyaking, Mountain biking, Kayak initiation, Sea kayaking or Paintball), 6 meals, 2 nights of camping, access to all the facilities at the New World Centre (pool, hot tubs, hot shower and volley-ball court). River activities include all necessary river equipment (wetsuit available at extra charge). Paintball includes 100 balls.
Camping includes site and firewood pits only. Bring your own camping equipment.
Shanties or tepee’s available for rent.
