The fjord is the favored spot of the Beluga whales. We will respect their privacy and not attempt to approach them.

Follow the waterways of adventure down the legendary Saguenay Fjord, renowned as one of the world’s most awesome. 350 meters’ cliffs, 6 meters’ tides, 100 km of pure nature ! A haven of peace surrounded by nature in its wildest, most mesmerizing forms. Where you can watch the harbor seals play and wait for the white Beluga or Minky whales to appear. All in an area where two large parks, the Saguenay National Park and the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park, join to protect the pristine natural setting.
We set ourselves apart by our constant concern for your safety, our instructional program, the gourmet meals we offer, our customer service and the high quality of our fiberglass kayaks. We provide wetsuits and paddle jackets, dry bags and tents. Small groups !
On your first day, departure from L’Anse-Saint-Jean, one of Quebec’s most picturesque villages, to paddle down the Fjord to the St-Lawrence river. You will paddle alongside the islands and the Baie Sainte-Marguerite delta where you might encounter some Beluga whales. You will sleep at the cottage L’Anse à la Barge. Second day, at L’Anse-Saint-Étienne, you’ll be seduced by its white sand beaches. We spend the night at the camp site Pointe à Passe-Pierre. Third day, this is an unforgettable moment, with the two waters intermingling and the lapping waves rocking our kayaks. You may just have to haul up your paddles for a moment, and stop to admire a distant school of Minky whales. We relax in Tadoussac and returning to L’Anse-Saint-Jean by boat.

Proud of the knowledge he acquired in the Gaspésie College Outdoor Adventure program, Olivier will make you discover the Saguenay Fjord for the seventh season with Fjord en kayak. He is certified level 3 from the Québec sea kayak Federation.
